"Have a wonderful journey..."

Journey Scent

We, the cooperative members of Journey Scent, have made it our mission to create, from organically grown or responsibly wild-harvested herbs and resins, products that will facilitate your spiritual journey and enable you to develop greater intimacy with the natural world. Our emphasis is on plants of the western United States, particularly the Northwest.

We endeavor to learn from ethnobotany, scientific analysis, and experimentation the complex, often secretive, relationship between plants and humans to more effectively formulate our scents. The free sharing of this distilled knowledge we consider imperative. This is our offering to plants.

Scents have been used for thousands of years to induce a biological euphoria facilitating religious transport. Our products are produced utilizing materials that have historic spiritual precedent. Where possible, we substitute plant products from our region into traditional formulas. This allows us to personally ensure sound ecological practices were employed in the growing and harvesting, to maintain reasonable prices, and to be true to our belief in the importance of locally based endeavors.

We recognize that not all incense is burned for spiritual purposes. Scent’s power of association can transport us through space-time, releasing memories and desire. A number of our formulations have been expressly created to assist you in warping space-time. Scents are also used for healing. We produce pure unadulterated scents to facilitate the unique healing abilities of the chosen plant.

Our ancestors knew the sacredness of all life forms on earth. Plants have evolved with us on this planet in an intimate symbiotic relationship. Plants share information with us facilitating vision and healing. We, the cooperative members of Journey Scent, strive to convey the necessity of recognizing the sacredness of life and in particular our sacred relationship to plants.
