High Water At Siltcoos Lake Florence Oregon

The coast is having heavy rains. We dug though our photos to show you a comparison of how high the lake is. Above you see a REALLY high lake in January 23rd of 2012. Be sure to click the images to see them full sized.

"How long will that leaning tree hang in there?"

You can see above a high water level, not as high. Note the shoreand also the two pier/pilings where in the 1st photo there only appears to be one. Look how high out of the water it is. Note how much or little the tree is leaning compared to the last photo. This photo is from January of 2011.

You can see above a normal water level in this shot from the 5th month of 2011. In the forground a tree is caught in the act falling.

Update:

The tree is now down flat to the water in the photo below taken on January 24th 2011.
