Treehouse Signs is selling tickets for a live comedy show that's going to be happening next Tuesday (Sept 13th 2011) evening at the Florence Playhouse in honor of their dear friend and long time stand up comedian, Vic Dunlop. He performed with the likes of Robin Williams, was on the Richard Pryor show and was one of the main comics in Make Me Laugh. He was planning on coming to Florence with another comic, Sean McBride but Vic passed away suddenly on August 13th.
Now Sean, along with a fellow comedian from Washington state Susan Jones have decided they want to do the show in Vic's honor and raise money to help with medical expenses for Vic's family. This is a wonderful tribute to a beautiful and insanely funny friend of ours and we will be showing clips of his stand up act as well. Tickets are on sale for only $7.00 each and they are going quickly.
Feast will be supplying wine and beer and after the show. Treehouse Signs will have tickets at their shop. This is a first come first served type of thing as there are only 120 seats at the Playhouse. It will be an intimate and particularly fun event.
"Things like this don't happen too often here in Florence and having a night of laughter would be a great way to spend time."
