VitalBodies.net Deer Cam

VitalBodies put up a lake cam recently. That cam created interest and we started thinking about a deer cam. There are deer that can be seen night and day if we had the right cam. Not all day or night but at least most days and nights. The ultimate cam would be an outdoor hi-resolution cam with tilt and pan plus night vision. We could get by with less than that also but that type of cam would be nice. We would also need Power Over Ethernet (POE) to power the cam. Or we could solar power the cam and have a wireless cam or find another way to power the camera.

"The deer graze, sleep at night and they also rest during storms right in view."

We see a lot of adult males and females and baby deer too. They sleep out there at night, and rest by day during many of the storms. They graze and eat huckleberries also. The deer are without a doubt a joy to watch.

We are currently reaching out for donations of every kind to make this happen. Could be a donation of money, something we can sell, tech advice, doing research or... We have one donation already. We need to find the right camera (research) find a deal on that (shopping) and get it setup (techno). We think night vision, hi-res are important. Some brainstorming on how to power the camera would help also.

Our first camera was up on a rare snow day here as seen in the image above and we could have seen deer in the deer cam that day also. We want to thank everyone for all the help...
