Camera Tethering In Linux Using A Canon 5D...

Image Place Holder

Tethering allows you to shoot an image with your camera and have the image download to your computer automatically. To take that further we would like to have the image display on screen right after the image is snapped.

"To instantly see the image on the big screen is an exciting feature for most any photographer "

We will be using gPhoto2 to attempt to make this happen and we will be shooting with a Canon 5D. So far I have got the program to work but not tether properly because the camera becomes busy and thus unusable. Even if unmounted. Has anyone gotten past this?
