Some Of The Lowest tides Of the Year On The Oregon Coast
Posted on June 20th, 2009 No commentsSome Of The Lowest tides Of the Year On The Oregon Coast
Tides will be about as low on the 23rd and 24th of June 2009 as they ever get on the Oregon coast. These extra low tides will expose tide pools and the remains shipwrecks rarely seen by beach goers. As always be sure to not disturb the wild life and to take home any star fish. Those star fish move very slowly and may look dead when they are actually very healthy and alive. Indeed, it is again the law to take star fish.On the 23rd (Tuesday) and the 24th (Wednesday) in the mornings, the tides will drop as low as minus 3 feet, which is a fun and rare occurrence.
This is a great time to stay at Oregon House near Yachats or your favorite beach location. Don’t forget VitalBodies Community Blog is offering a $25 off coupon.-

Infusion Fibers ~ An Introduction
Posted on April 23rd, 2009 No comments
Hello and happy Spring! This is a time of year where I am always newly excited to live in such a beautiful, healthy and nurturing place. Natural spaces are easy to find… the ocean is close by, lakes and rivers are plentiful, the forest surrounds us and everything everywhere is waking up again, to enjoy the sunshine.
I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself, as a contributor to this new community space. My name is Abby, and in addition to being an easygoing, nature-loving girl who thrives on the simple life, I am the creator of a little business called Infusion Fibers. I make high quality, natural, organic and recycled fiber goods, ranging from bags to housewares to clothing and soft shoes. Currently my work is sold online in my etsy shop, but I look forward to working more locally as well. I will hold special discounts for local buyers (which will be announced here) and I will periodically announce fun giveaways.
I am partner to Steven, the generous creator of this supportive space. I am very enthusiastic about sharing together as a community, with you all. The reason I still live here, after all these years, is the wonderful sense of community that resides.
